A few hundred Occupy Wall Street protesters marched peacefully across the Brooklyn Bridge yesterday to mark six months since hundreds were arrested in a chaotic mass protest on the same bridge.
The NYPD said there were no arrests and no violence at yesterday's march, which began in the early afternoon and wrapped up around sundown.
Protesters started in their former headquarters Zuccotti Park and winded through the Financial District to the Brooklyn Bridge, where they walked across and ended up in Brooklyn’s Cadman Plaza and held an "unofficial general assembly."
Still, the protest was far from the enormous clash of Oct. 1, when more than 700 protesters were arrested after major skirmishes with the NYPD.
