Occupy Wall Street is getting an album featuring Yoko Ono, Willie Nelson, Devo, and more

occupythisalbum
What do Willie Nelson, Devo, and Third Eye Blind have in common?
Other than being giants of their respective musical eras (yeah, we said it; just try not to sing along to this), they all support the Occupy Wall Street movement.
They and many other artists will be contributing music to the benefit compilation Occupy This Album: A Compilation of Music by, for and Inspired by the Occupy Wall Street Movement and the 99%. Proceeds from the wordily titled record will go “directly towards the needs of sustaining this growing movement,” The Wrap reports.
Missing from the list of contributing artists is Jay-Z, who probably could’ve used the album as a chance to make up for that that Occupy gaffe he made last fall.
But there are still a lot of acts to look forward to. The full list, as per the album’s site, is as follows:
Aeroplane Pageant, Alex Emanuel, Black Dragon, Chroma, Cosmonaut, Crosby and Nash, Dangerfield, Devo, DJ Logic, Dylan Chambers, Global Block, Harry Hayward, Immortal Technique, Jackson Browne, Jay Samel, Jennie Arnau, Joel Rafael, Joseph Arthur, Julie B. Bonnie, Junkyard Empire, Ladytron, Lloyd Cole, Los Cintron, Loudon Wainwright III, Lucinda Williams, Matt Pless, Mike + Ruthy, Mike Rimbaud, Mogwai, My Pet Dragon, Mystic Bowie, Our Lady Peace, Richard Barone, Ronny Elliot, Stephan Said, Taj Weekes, Tao Rodriguez Seeger, the Guthrie Family, the Middle Eight, Third Eye Blind, Thievery Corporation, Tom Morello, Toots and the Maytals, Warren Haynes, Willie Nelson, Yoko Ono, and Yo La Tengo.
The Wrap also adds Steve Earle, Debbie Harry, and Michael Moore(!?) to that list.
Are there any other artists you guys think should be on the protest soundtrack? The often-political Radiohead, perhaps, or working-class hero Bruce Springsteen? Make your voice heard in the comments!
